Bank. c1900. Portland stone. Pitched lead roof, stone stack with moulded cap to left and centre. Baroque style. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic, 4 bays. At right corner is a full height bowed inset, 2 leaf 4 moulded panelled door with flanking Doric pilasters and entablature; on first floor is a sash with 6-pane lower leaf, cornice with console brackets, flanking Ionic pilasters and entablature, elaborate wreath craving to frieze, panelled parapet and lead dome. On left are 4 articulated bays each with round-headed bank window set within rusticated face under round arch with keystone, flanked with paired and single Roman Ionic pilasters on projecting pedestals, entablature with bracket cornice runs across and return to right. On first floor are four 12-pane sashes, each with architrave, cornice with console brackets; modillion cornice, coped parapet between four 9-pane attic casements, each framed by pilasters, cornice and shaped pediments. Right return is similar 3 bays wide. On left is a 3-storey projection with 2-leaf 6-panelled door set in band rusticated ground floor with architrave and bracketed cornice, small casement over. First and second floor, each has a narrow 8-pane sash, cornice and coped parapet. Right return has similar extension on right.
