2 houses, then warehouse, now 2 houses. Late C18/early C19; restored late C20. Red brick in Flemish bond. Plain tiled roof. 3 storeys and attic, No.44 has 2 bays and No.45 3 bays. No.44 has 5 stone steps up to 3-panelled door on left with overlight, set in recess with panelled reveals and soffit, engaged fluted columns with frieze and cornice over. On right C20 12-pane sash set under C20 flat gauged brick arch. First floor has 2 16-pane sashes each under gauged brick arch. Second floor similar but with unequal 9-pane sashes. No.45 has 5 stone steps up to 6-panelled door on left with fanlight, set in recess with panelled reveals, engaged fluted columns with pediment over. On right two C20 12-pane sashes each under C20 flat gauged brick arch. First floor has 3 12-pane sashes set under gauged brick arches and second floor similar with unequal 9-pane sashes. Brick dentil band over all with coped parapeted. C20 roof lights, No.44 has 1 and No.45 has 2. Rear much altered C20. INTERIOR not inspected.
