Pair of houses, No.8 now nursing home. Dated 1854. Stuccoed. Roof interlocking tiles, brick stack at centre. 2 storeys and attic, 4 bays 2:2. Centre 2 bays project. Each centre bay has facing gable and each outer bay narrow facing gable all with elaborate cut bargeboards except plain bargeboards to No.10 right bay. Rusticated quoin strips. No.8 on right and No.10 on left, has 2-leaf boarded door with pointed fanlight, No.8 has top glazing, each set within porch with pointed arch. No.8 on left and No.10 on right has timber tripartite canted bay with centre 2-light 6-pane casement and 3-pane flanking casements. Plain tile tented roof. First floor has over each porch one 2-light casement to No.8, C20 casement to No.10 set under pointed arch. INTERIOR not inspected.
