Villa and attached railings. 1826 with later alterations. Stucco over brick with concealed roof and wrought-iron balcony, window-guards and railings. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement, 3 first-floor windows. Central breakforward. First floor has 6/6 sashes; ground floor, to left a tripartite 1/1 sash with fanlight and radial glazing bars in double-chamfered reveals, rectangular bay to right covers a similar round-arched opening. Flight of roll-edged steps to 4-columnar Ionic porch with architrave, frieze and cornice with blocking course; 4-panel, part-glazed door with fanlight with radial glazing bars and margin lights. Crowning frieze and cornice with blocking course. Raised upshots over breakforward. Basement at left, now garage. Rear has round-arched staircase window and 6/6 sashes. INTERIOR: reputed to retain original features including fireplaces. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: web motif and oval panels to first-floor window guards and balcony over porch. Railings to sides of porch have similar balustrade. (Sampson A and Blake S: A Cheltenham Companion: Cheltenham: 1993-: 13; Chatwin A: Cheltenham's Ornamental Ironwork: Cheltenham: 1975-1984: 35).
