Pair of houses, now house and flats. c1820. Ashlar over brick with stucco party-wall stacks, slate roof and iron porches and balconies. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and basement with 2-storey entrance bay at right; windows arranged 3:2+1. Entrance bay stepped back slightly. Main range has 1st and 2nd floor bands and crowning frieze, cornice and blocking course. Ground and firs floors have 6/6 sashes and an 8-pane French window with margin-lights. 3/3 sashes to 2nd floor; basement has 3/6 sashes. End entrances: 2 roll-edged steps to 4-panel part-glazed door (at left) and 6-fielded-panel door at right, both have lozenge frieze and fanlights, that to right with batwing and circle glazing bars. Rear retains 6/6 and 3/3 sashes. INTERIOR: noted as retaining original joinery including panelled shutters, otherwise not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: porches (tent roof missing at left) have scrolled lozenge and X-motif to uprights and openwork frieze, embellished rods at lower part. Five first-floor balconies, 4 with central embellished oval panel, one central circle with scrolls.
