Stucco over brick with concealed roof and stucco party-wall stacks with wrought-iron railings and balconies. Double-depth plan with outer stairwells and outer full-height service ranges to rear. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys on basement, 5 first-floor windows (3:2), with blind entrance bay set back slightly to right. Stucco detailing includes ground-floor rustication; tooled architraves to ground- and first-floor windows. 6/6 sashes throughout, taller to first floor; all in tooled architraves and with sills. Basement has 3/6 and 4/8 sashes and C20 doors. End entrances 5-panel doors with overlights with margin-lights. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: individual first-floor balconies have embellished rods with X-motif friezes and central scroll panels. Lancet forecourt railings to right.
