GV II
House, one of a row of three houses. Late C18 with later alteration. By George Cripps. Red brick with timber porch; shallow pitched slate roof with rendered end stacks. L-shaped plan. EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 3-window front, extending into 1 bay of higher 2-storey house to right. Flat roofed canted porch of closely spaced narrow ribs and rails with 4-centred arch has 4-panel bolection moulded door. Flanking windows, those on first floor and in house to right are recessed sashes with glazing bars and stone sills: ground floor window in house to right has louvred shutters. Left return has a 2-storey canted bay window, two French windows and recessed sashes. INTERIOR: 6-panel door, panelled shutters to sashes, staircase with curtail step and cut and bracketed string.
