Group of 4 houses. c1831, altered C20. Squared and watershot coursed stone, painted to No.58, with Welsh slate roofs. Nos 56-58 form a row facing the street with No.55 as rear wing. L-plan, No.56 double fronted, Nos 57 & 58 single fronted. No.55 built as a double fronted wing to rear of No.56. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 7-window range (including an inserted window over a doorway) facing street, 3-window range to rear. Windows and doors renewed in original openings, the windows of Nos 57-58 tall rectangular openings, all with plain stone lintels. Ridge chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected.
