House. Probably originally early C17, extended and altered,
later C20. Roughly coursed and squared stone with slate roof.
EXTERIOR AND PLAN: 2 storeys, L-plan. Main range a 2-unit
plan, with lower wing built out from front of house, the main
range and the wing both extended. Present entrance in original
section of wing, the entrance itself inserted. Single
mullioned window (of 2- and 3-lights) on each floor in main
range, to right of wing. Rear elevation has 2 mullioned
windows of 3- and 4-lights on each floor, the upper windows
inserted or renewed, the lower windows retaining original
plain-chamfered mullions. Single small round-headed window
over inserted doorway to right. End wall stacks (rebuilt), one
set forward of the gable line, suggesting internal inglenook.
