Terrace of 4 houses, built in 2 phases c1840-50. Red brick with stone dressings; slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 4+6 window range. Nos 25 & 27 possibly the earlier of the 2 phases (built with Nos 1-5 Myrtle Street, qv): 6-window range including the return of No.1 Myrtle Street. 12-pane sash windows with painted stone flat arched heads and continuous sill band and plain frieze to first floor. Tall doorways in architraves with panelling to pilasters and frieze. Nos 21 & 23 form a 4-window range, with 2-pane or renewed sash windows and doorways with engaged columns to architrave recessed in round-headed archway. Ground-floor windows are canted bays, that to No.21 probably late C19, painted stone with segmentally arched windows, and that to No.23 a late C20 replacement. INTERIOR: not inspected.
