Former Entrance lodge, gates and boundary wall to St Paul's College
(Formerly Listed as: SWINDON ROAD Boundary wall to the College of St Paul and St Mary, Francis Close Hall etc)

Entrance lodge, gates and wall. Circa 1849 by architect, S W Daukes, with Lodge of 1912. Squared coursed rubble front wall and wall to right return (St Paul's Lane) for approximately 100 metres, about 1.5 metres high with weathered capping. Gateway to left of lodge buttressed and crenellated with archway and gates. Lodge in gabled vernacular Gothic style: one-and-a-half storeys with tiled roof, two triple lancet windows (cusped) to road under gables with weathered coping; four-light windows to ground floor. Crenellated extensions to right. Gabled extension to left with porch, doorway etc.
