Hulton Memorial in St Mary's
churchyard

Memorial to members of the Hulton family. Mid-late C19. Stone
with inscribed slate memorial tablets. Octagonal plinth raised
on steps, with moulded panels with recessed slates, and
embattled parapet below moulded base of octagonal tapering
shaft surmounted by a cross. The memorial was erected in
memory of Emma Louise Hulton d.1841, and also commemorates
other members of the family who died in the late C19 and early
C20.
