GV II

Villa. c1840. Stucco over brick with hipped slate roof and brick hip stacks with cornices. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 5 first-floor windows. Central breakforward. Stucco detailing includes paired full-height Doric pilasters to ends and between windows; windows have tooled architraves with reeded surrounds, those to ground floor also with decorated frieze and cornice. Mainly tripartite windows, 6/6 between 2/2 sashes to first floor, 1/1 horned sashes to ground floor, except to first floor, centre a 6/6 sash. All windows in plain reveals. Central entrance within pedimented Ionic porch with paired, fluted columns, within a panelled door with overlight. Right return has 3 first-floor windows. First floor has 6/6 sashes; ground floor has central entrance between tripartite 6/6 between 2/2 sashes, all in tooled architraves, those to ground floor with cornices. INTERIOR: not inspected.
