Villa and attached railings. c1820-1834, shown on Merrett's 1834 Map. Ashlar over brick with end brick and stucco stacks and concealed roof; iron railings. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement, 3 first-floor windows. Ashlar detailing includes first-floor sill band. frieze and cornice with blocking course. First floor has 6/6 sashes, ground floor has 6/6 between 2/2 sashes with elliptically-arched recesses above; all in plain reveals and with sills; Venetian shutters. Basement has 10/10 sashes. Central entrance, flight of 6 roll-edged steps to portico with Doric pillars and entablature with wreaths, panelled part-glazed door with overlight with glazing bars. 'Tivoli Lodge' inscribed to ground floor at right. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings to either side of porch have ornate scrolls. HISTORICAL NOTE: Verey cites this as in the style of JB Papworth.
