House, now in use as residential home. Dated 1836. Coursed and squared stone, rendered in part, with slate roof. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 5-window range, with entrance in gable facing street, and principal facade facing garden. Gabled entrance porch with date in shield. Balanced asymmetry to garden front, with 2 advanced gabled bays alternating with one and 2-window ranges. Of the advanced gables, that to left has canted bay window to ground floor with mullioned and transomed lights, and upper window renewed in original opening, with drop-ended hoodmould. right-hand gable has 3-light mullioned and transomed window to ground floor, and 2-light mullioned window above. Between the 2 gables, a 2-window range, with 3-light mullioned and transomed windows to ground floor, mullioned with drop ended hoodmoulds above, and dormer gable over the right-hand window. Left of the left hand gable, a single-window range with mullioned and transomed lower window, mullioned upper window with dormer gable over, both with hoodmoulds. Where the original upper windows survive, they have arched lights. Overhanging eaves; end and axial stacks. INTERIOR: not inspected.
