Terrace of 4 houses, now in use as offices. Early C19. Brick
with slate roof.
EXTERIOR AND PLAN: 2 storeys, 11-window range. The terrace is
divided by a wide segmentally arched carriage entry, and No.19
is left of this, a 4-window range, 2-unit plan, with entrance
to left. Doorway with sidelights set in wide segmental archway
with geometric tracery to fanlight. Narrow windows each side
of door, and 2 sash windows to its right. Upper windows also
sashes of 12 and 16 panes. Flat arched heads and painted stone
sills throughout.
To the right of the archway, Nos 21-25 have been amalgamated
as a single unit, with present doorway to the right. Plain
round arched doorway. A further doorway with traceried
fanlight is now a window, and other windows are all 2-pane
sashes with wedge lintels. Continuous stone sill band to first
floor. Moulded wood eaves cornice (missing in No.25). End wall
stacks. Ornamental cast-iron rainwater heads.
