Pair of houses, now 2 shops with offices above. Late C18. Brick with slate roof. 3-storeyed, 6-window range. Outer original entrances each side, with shallow segmental pediment and 6-panelled door to left, and plain architrave to right. Late C19 shop fronts with heavy panelled fascias carried on paired console brackets. Upper windows are 4-pane sashes with finely gauged flat-arched brick heads with key stones. Smaller 4-pane sashes to attic storey. End wall stacks. INTERIOR: original staircases with turned balusters and moulded tread ends survive in entrance hallways each side, and one original fireplace with basket grate in upper room of No.19, which also retains an early C19 kitchen range to ground floor rear.
