Coaching inn, now public house. Late C18. Brick with stone dressings and Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys, 5-window range, irregularly planned with doorway to left of centre. Segmental canopy carried on piers to porch, and wide 16-pane sash windows with moulded flush frames and flat-arched brick heads on each floor. Roof overhangs over modillion cornice. Hipped roof to Minshull Street elevation which is a 3-window range similarly detailed. Axial and end wall stacks. INTERIOR: not inspected.
