and the Deanery)

Section of Close wall. 1316-1321. Restored C18 and C19.
Dressed stone with C18 brick plinth. Renewed crenellated
coping over off-centre passageway, the remainder with pantile
coping. South side, L-plan, has a round headed opening to the
passageway and to right, a buttress with 3 setoffs. Approx. 4m
high and 150m long. Southern length, approx. 50m long, has
stepped pantile coping.
