Grafton House

GV II

House, now Labour Party Club. Mid C19. Stucco with hipped
slate roof with 2 side wall and single rear wall stacks.
Plinth, chamfered quoins, moulded first floor band, modillion
eaves cornice. 3 storeys, 3 bays. East front has a central
square porch with pilasters, cornice and round headed openings
with keystones. C20 glazed doors and fanlight. On either side,
a canted bay window with plain sashes and elaborate cast-iron
balcony railings. Above, 3 plain sashes with projecting
surrounds and bracketed cornices, the central one slightly
smaller. Above again, 3 smaller sashes, the central one with
glazing bars, all with eared and shouldered architraves.
INTERIOR not inspected.
