Statue. Mid-C18 for the second Duke of Richmond. Ashlar. Two-step podium; plinth with moulded base and cornice, and tablestone on which is set statue of recumbent lioness.

The statue commemorates a deceased lioness, a favourite animal in the second Duke of Richmond's renowned menagerie, which was located close to this statue.
