House, forms part of a terrace built as 4 separate phases.
Early C19 with later additions and alterations. Brindled brick
with stucco dressings. Hand-made plain clay tiles to roof,
hipped to left and partially concealed by coped parapet. Stack
with oversailing course and pots to right ridge. Single-depth
plan with entrance hall to left. C20 extension to rear right.
3 storeys and basement. 2 first-floor windows. Stucco
detailing includes sills and channelled wedge lintels with
keystones. Windows are 6/6 except to second-floor which is 3/3
to left, blank to right; all near flush. Entrance to left
aligned with windows above; 6-panel door, bottom pair
flush-triple-beaded, otherwise raised and fielded; radial
pattern fanlight; doorcase with open pediment, panelled
pilasters on fluted plinths. Adjacent doorcase to left
accesses No.46 (qv).
INTERIOR: not inspected.
