Formerly 4 houses, now 3; part of terrace, 2 to north
converted c1964 to single dwelling (door to No.200 retained
but blocked internally). Early C19 with later additions and
alterations. Painted brick with plain clay tile roof,
part-hipped to left. Ridge stacks to party walls and right
end; altered; no pots. Simple timber doorcases and pediments.
Single-depth plan. 2-storeys with basement and attic. Brick
detailing includes dentilled eaves. First-floor almost blank
with 3 cambered-head blind recesses to left and centre; 6/6
sash to right. Ground-floor windows are 6/6 sashes except to
right end which is 8/8, some are replacement with horns, all
flush frames under cambered arch, no projecting sills. Very
small 1/1 sash inserted to first and second-floor of left
house(s), 2 doors to this house are 4-panel, upper panels
raised and fielded with bolection moulding, flush lower panels
with added cover-moulding; centre door (No.196) is similar but
bottom panels are flush-beaded; all 3 have plain doorcase with
console brackets to open pediment. Renewed pediment and C20
multi-panel door to right house.
