House, now offices. c1820-50 with later alterations. Red brick in
Flemish bond with hipped slate roof and rear, lateral stacks with
oversailing courses and pots. Central hallway, double-depth plan
with shallow rear range. 3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. First
floor has 6/6 sash between 8/8 sashes; second floor has 3/3 sash
between 4/4 ashes; ground floor has outer 8/8 sashes; all in
plain reveals and with flat arches of gauged brick and with
sills. Central entrance a raised and fielded panel door with
fanlight with radial glazing bars in plain reveals and with
tooled, round-arched architrave. Eaves cornice. Right return has
2 first-floor windows. First floor has blind opening and 6/6
sash; second floor has blind openings; ground floor has 6/6
sashes. X-tie-rod ends at first- and second-floor levels.
