Hall house, now shop. Early C15, re-faced C18, altered and extended late C20.
MATERIALS: timber frame encased in painted render. Old tile hipped roof.

PLAN: formerly L-plan of 4 x 2 framed bays, now irregular with rear extension.

EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Chimney with clay pot and large base projecting from right hand gable. Sash windows with glazing bars. Black painted plinth, boxed eaves. Entrance (south) front: Symmetrical 3-bays. Sash windows on first floor. Two, C20 shop windows with pair of entrance doors between, linked with large fascia board above.

INTERIOR: wide, plain joists visible on ground floor in right hand section. Jowled posts and large arched braces on first floor. First and fourth roof trusses are exposed and have redundant crown posts. Middle truss, probably central to former hall, has arched brace collar. Wattle and daub remains in second roof truss. Very wide rafters throughout. Old, wide plank floors over part of first floor.
