Villa, now offices. Early C19, tower added c1840, extended
later C19.
MATERIALS: painted stucco, slate hipped low-pitched roofs.
PLAN: rectangular plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2 symmetrical chimneys on oldest part
with corniced heads and terracotta pots. Boxed eaves. Sash
windows, those on ground floor with glazing bars, reeded
architraves, small pediments and bracketed sills.
Entrance (east) front has 3-bay symmetrical centre section,
projecting, square central enclosed porch with bracketed
eaves and concave lead roof with acorn finial, C20 panelled
entrance door. Single bay single storey extension on right.
Square Italianate tower on left rising above main house with
bracketed eaves, low pitch hipped roof and finial. Round
arched window at first floor with raised surround impost
blocks and scrolled keystone. Window on ground floor as
before.
INTERIOR: dog-leg staircase with stick balusters.
