Farmhouse, now 2 houses. Mid C16, altered and extended, C18,
extended C20.
MATERIALS: timber frame encased in brick in Flemish bond at
front, English bond at rear. Old tile roof, half-hipped.
PLAN: formerly rectangular plan of 3 framed bays, extended on
left and at rear.
EXTERIOR: one and a half storeys. 3 chimneys with corniced
heads and clay pots. C20 casement windows. Entrance (south)
front: 4 gabled dormers breaking eaves, with 2-light windows.
Three, 2-light windows on ground floor with segmental brick
arches. Two C20 entrance doors between first and second
windows with small gabled porches. There is some old
brickwork, probably C17, at rear and in right hand angle.
INTERIOR: timber frame exposed with queen post roof and curved
braces.
