Stable and hunt kennels. Circa early C19, extended circa mid
C19. Flemish bond red brick front, weatherboarded timber-frame
behind. Slate hipped roof with lead rolled hips and ridge.
Later C19 brick stacks on front.
PLAN: Long rectangular stable range with a Palladian style
brick north front facing the park and a plain south elevation
onto the yard. Lower kennel wing at right angles to the SE and
small circa mid C19 wing on the front
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 1:3:3:3:1 bay north front,
the centre and ends break forward with large round-arch
recesses, the centre with a pediment, brick stringcourse and
blind oculi on the first floor; round headed windows on the
ground floor and to right and left of centre a dummy portico
with round arch and oculus, the left concealed behind
single-storey wing with 2-span gabled roof; sash windows with
glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches; single-storey bay
on right with 12-pane sash window. Weatherboarded timber-frame
at rear: 1:7:1 windows, the ends advanced; small casements on
first floor, stable doors and canopy across ground floor,
12-pane sash on left and single-storey 1-bay range on left end
with lpank door. Single-storey kennel range at right angles on
right with runs in front with railings with cast-iron posts.
INTERIOR: altered.
