II End of terrace town house now sub-divided into flats. c1845-55. Red brick in Flemish bond with slate roof and cast iron rain water goods. Chimney stack rendered from attic level upwards. Some original pots.
Exterior: 3 storeys; deep eaves with boxed cornice and eaves brackets flanking the 2nd floor windows. Regular 2-window front. Doorcase with projecting cornice on brackets; panelled reveals and rectangular overlight. Front door has 2 vertical fielded panels. To ground floor left is a keyed round headed arched window holding a 2-pane horned sash. 1st floor has 2 windows with flat arches and keystones and windows with 6/9 pane hornless sashes and iron trellis balconies. 2nd floor 12-pane hornless sash windows. The left return at attic level has a hornless sash window with missing vertical glazing bars.
INTERIOR: Not inspected but may retain features of interest.
The house butts on to the end of the terrace of Nos 51-57 (qv) and has group value.
