Shop and warehouse: early C19 with mid-late C19 shopfront, warehouse and interior. Flemish bond orange brick with yellow headers. Welsh slate roof and 2 brick chimneys. 2-storey, 3-bay front. Wide shopfront contains plate glass windows flanking recessed glazed entrance at the centre. The shopfront is framed and divided by pilasters and columns with simple strapwork details. Long lintel has a line of guttae and the shop name "G Gunnery and Co." in late C19 letters. Upper storey has 3 12-pane sashes with flat wedged stone heads and stone sills. Attached to rear is a 3-storey warehouse with loading bays and windows with glazing bars and 2 hoists under projecting gabled caps. Interior: shop and warehouse has an intact interior of a mid-late C19 grocers and Italian warehouseman. Shop has a long pine and marble-topped counters, banks of shelving with twisted balusters supports, and glazed cupboards with some tracery. Behind is the general office with fitted sloped desk and other furniture. Warehouse has wooden beams on iron columns, narrow wooden staircases, a wooden and iron winch wheel. One room has shutes for packing goods.

The shop and warehouse is listed for its very complete interior.
