Three linked terraces of houses and one shop. Nos. 66-80 Raby Street 1972-5 by Ralph Erskine's Arkitektkontor; site architect Vernon Gracie; structural engineer, White, Young and Partners; main contractor, Stanley Miller Ltd. The rest 1978-9 by Ralph Erskine's Arkitektkontor; main contractor, Shepherd Construction. Pale metric modular brick on timber frames, with vertical dark blue cladding to no. 66 and to Nos. 78 and 80 Raby Street. Band of timber cladding at eaves level to Nos. 82-90 Raby Street. Metal contrasting-pitch roofs supported on plywood box beam purlins. Two storeys on steeply sloping site. Two storeys. Shop front to no.66 Raby Street boarded up at time of survey. Projecting green timber down pipe and bird box to no. 82 Raby Street. Projecting porches in brown timber with blue metal roofs to Nos. 64-80. Nos. 92 Raby Street and Nos.4 and 6 Priory Place with bright green eaves cladding, no. 2 with white; Nos. 4 and 6 with projecting brick porches having sloping blue metal roofs. Timber windows in timber surrounds, with aluminium sliding opening lights. Timber doors with glazed panel, many renewed in hardwood. Interiors not inspected.
