Terrace house, Early C19 (row in existence in 1819) altered late C19.

MATERIALS: limestone ashlar, double pitched slate roof with a truncated stack to the left.

PLAN: double depth plan.

EXTERIOR: three storeys, cellar, four-window front. Returned cornice and parapet. Second floor sill band, plate glass windows to second and ground floors, mid C19 margin paned French windows with overlights and good cast iron balcony with supports to former canopy to first floor, door to right with five-panels, oval panel to centre, and trellised porch under balcony

INTERIOR: recorded by Bath Preservation Trust 1994. Inner hall on ground floor has stone skirting, vestibule window above door. Stone cantilevered staircase, wood and metal stringing, metal newel post. Mahogany handrail terminating with small inlay of mother-of-pearl above newel post. Drawing room on first floor has white marble fireplace with cast iron grate. Three full-length windows, French windows below fixed lights. Double connecting doors. Very ornate cornice and ceiling frieze to rear, fireplace similar to front. Second floor grey veined white marble mantelpiece with cast iron hob grate.
