House, now flats. c1790-1793 with C19 and C20 alterations. By John Palmer. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, render to basement, ashlar and rubble to rear, Welsh slate double pile parapeted mansard roof with coped party wall and two ashlar stacks to right. Staircase to rear. EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic and basement, three-window range. First floor has three six/six horned sashes in splayed reveals with stone sills and wrought iron balconettes, second floor has three similar windows without balconettes, ground floor has two similar windows without balconettes to right, six-panel door with flush, fielded and glazed panels to left with one pennant step in moulded architrave with moulded cornice over on console brackets with anthemion bases and with roundel decoration, one step to pennant paved crossover with cast iron footscraper. Basement, opened up c1986 having been blocked and railings removed, has six/six horned sashes in chamfered reveals with continuous stone sill, glazed door and screen in rendered infilling under crossover, C20 area steps. One double and one single dormer, each with six/six-sashes. Band course over ground floor; frieze, moulded eaves cornice and cut down coped parapet. Lead hopperhead at eaves to left. Rear elevation partially visible, six/six and C19 sashes, canted bay with C19 plate glass sashes and continuous wrought iron balconette to first floor, single storey ashlar parapeted extension. INTERIOR: Not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached C20 railings with cast heads on limestone bases.
