Concave curved terrace of twelve houses, stepped uphill from No.7. Mid C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar painted to the ground floor, double pitched slate and double Roman tile roofs with moulded stacks to party walls.
PLAN: double depth.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and lower ground floors; each house has a front two windows wide. Eaves cornices, ground floor platbands, banded rustication to ground floor, enclosed, painted lower two storey porches to right of each house with bolection moulded five panel doors glazed to top under cornices on consoles with single windows above and semicircular arched windows to ground floor of returns. Plate glass sash windows. No 1 has double Roman tiles. No.2 has slate roof, and a late C19 cast iron boot scraper. Nos. 3 and 4 are similar to No.2. No.5 has double Roman tiles. No.6 has slate roof and two/two pane sash windows. No.7 has double roman tiles, two/two pane sashes to first floor and plate glass to ground floor and painted facade. No.8 is unpainted with slate roof. No.9 has slate roof. No.10 is similar. Nos. 11 and 12 have double Roman tile roofs.
