End terrace house. c1860. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, double pitched slate roof with stacks to right party wall and rear. PLAN: Double depth plan. EXTERIOR: Two storeys to front, four window front. Stop-chamfered arises to plate glass sash windows. To right, full-height parapeted segmental bay with three windows to each floor, parapet cornice and ground floor cornice and lintel frieze that continues across left hand range, returned plinth. Door to left has two rows of three vertical panels, window above and smaller window to far left. Two window left return facing river has lower ground floor and basement. Moulded kneelers to front gable end, canted bay to left of ground floor, lower ground floor and basement has hipped roof in front of rear gable end. INTERIOR: Both inspected by Bath Council 1982. Basement retained old kitchen with small range and console mantelpiece with palmette under, four panelled large dresser with shelves and three drawers. Included for group value with adjoining earlier terrace. Nos 5-10, Cleveland Place West.
