COMBE ROAD Combe Down (South West side) Nos.46 AND 48 Dundrum (48) (Formerly Listed as: COMBE ROAD, Combe Down Nos.46 AND 48) 05/08/75

GV II

Pair of houses, formerly three, in row. Late C18 or early C19. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, pantile roofs. PLAN: Wide frontage pair, set back and down from street level, and higher at rear with fall across site. EXTERIOR: Two storeys, sashes. No.46 has two+one windows, twelve-pane sash, at first floor, above plain sashes flanking panelled door in gabled porch. To right, returning to front of site, single storey wing with lean-to roof. No.48 similar, but in part fronted by adjoining No.50 (qv), has one twelve-pane sash above four-pane, with door under gabled porch to left. Coped gables, ashlar stack to right, and another at central party wall. Rear elevation has cornice and parapet. INTERIORS: Not inspected.
