House now shop to north-west corner of Broad Street Place. Early C18, altered early C19, late C19 and C20. Shop extends into Nos 2 and 3 Broad Street Place. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar painted to ground floor front, roof unseen with two tall double stacks to former rear party walls. PLAN: Formerly one unit. EXTERIOR: Three storeys, two window front. Coped parapet (not returned), moulded string course between upper floors returned to right as plain band; paired two/one pane sash windows to upper floors with shared sills; early C18 chamfered rusticated quoins to first and ground floor right; simple cornice and fascia over half-glazed door and three pane overlight to left, steps out over shop window of two plate glass panes with small upper panes, on brackets. C19 windows and C20 windows and door to right return. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
