Four terrace houses, set back from street. Mid C19 with late C19 alterations. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, No.8 painted, concrete tile roofs. EXTERIOR: Two storey houses, with double roof to central valley gutter. No.7 with steeper roof pitch and incorporating an attic, this property possibly inserted later at junction with adjacent No.6 (qv). Windows are all plain or replacement sash, each house with two at first floor, and one below, with door to the right. No.7 also has high gabled late C19 dormer, and Nos 7 and 8 have canted ground floor bay with broad stone pilaster mullions and pierced parapet. Mid platband, moulded cornice, swept up to No.7, blocking course and parapet. Stack forward of ridge to each house and each roof. INTERIORS: Not inspected. Included for group value in part of a long terrace extending each end.
