Four terrace houses. Early C19. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, tile or slate roofs. PLAN: Near identical houses, stepped with street slope, mansard roofs. EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic and basement, each one window. First pair has nine-pane dormers above twelve-pane sashes, sill band at second floor, with later sixteen-pane and panelled door on three stone steps to No.9, narrow paired sashes to mullion box, and panelled door plus transom light to 11. Upper pair has dormer with paired sashes, with glazing bars to No.15, above twelve-pane sashes, and panelled doors with transom light to left of narrow paired glazing bar sashes with wood mullion boxes, ground floor to No.11, full-width to Nos 13 and 15, has continuous fascia board, to right of end house is single storey extension with plank door to throughway. Nos 11, 13 and 15 have grille to basement windows. First floor platband, cornice, blocking course and parapet, four ashlar stacks. Left return plain, and rear, directly overlooking former graveyard, has double Roman tiles to Nos 9 and 11, with paired twelve-pane and nine-pane dormers over plain and paired twelve-pane sashes. INTERIORS: Not inspected. Separated from similar adjacent Nos 1-5 (qv) by access-way to former graveyard.
