Semi-detached house, forming the left-hand half of an asymmetrical pair with No. 47 [qv]. c1830. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar facade, rough ashlar to left return, double pitched roof unseen with moulded stacks to gable ends. EXTERIOR: Two storeys and lower ground floor, two-window front. Flanking pilasters rise up to cornice; blind arches to ground floor. First floor sill band; platband at impost level of ground floor and chamfered arrises to late C19 plate glass sash windows. Six-panel door to right has stop-chamfered arrises and margin panes to three-pane overlight and small window to right, window to left has late C19 balconette. Basement area covered over. Cast iron railings and moulded gate piers. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
