Detached house. Mid C19. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate roof. PLAN: Modest symmetrical gabled house, extended single bay to right. EXTERIOR: Two storeys, three + one windows, all four-pane sashes, to plain sill band at first floor, with blind light centre, above door, with gabled glazed porch, probably of same or slightly later date. Extended bay similar, with early lean-to conservatory. Original block has coped gables, each with ashlar stack. Returns plain. INTERIOR: Not inspected. HISTORY: Externally little altered, it retains its original configuration and is representative of the modest but well-built properties in area, which show the endurance of the late Georgian tradition into the mid-19th century.
