House and shop. Late C18 with C19 additions. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, roof not visible from street. PLAN: Very shallow wedge shaped site, double fronted single depth plan. EXTERIOR: Two storeys and full height attic, this last feature possibly a later addition. Ground floor has late C19 shop with central doorway and separate plate glass windows on either side. Plain modern door and additional one of similar type to left. Platband above window fascias, sill band to first floor. First floor window, four/one sash to left, others plain, all with iron balconettes. Second floor windows are plain six/six sashes with additional four/four to narrow end elevation. Cornice. Second floor has six/six sashes flanking blind window. Parapet, ashlar stack with pots to right. Rear elevation not seen. INTERIOR: Not inspected. HISTORY: First shown on Harcourt Masters's map of 1793. This was apparently built together with Nos 22 and 23 (qv) but these have been so changed in character that they are now listed separately.
