Shop. Late C19 with C20 alterations. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar slate roof with forward facing gable. PLAN: Double depth plan. EXTERIOR: Two storeys, two-window front. Parapet to coped gable end virtual pediment, has steps to quoins, half-way up slopes and apex with ball finial. Recessed panel to tympanum follows shape and slightly returned cornice below at gutter level of left return. Two plate glass sash windows to first floor have run-out chamfered jambs. Good original shopfront spans facade. Set back half glazed central door, tall overlight and polychromatic tiled floor are flanked by plate glass shop windows with low moulded sills and ornamented motifs two-thirds of way up turned colonnettes, probably marking positions of former overlights, small blocks to centres of lintels imply windows were formerly of two panes to each side. Pilasters flanking facade have plinths, blocks one-third of way up, moulded string courses level with former overlights and Composite capitals supporting acanthus consoles with scroll finials that flank cornice and fascia. Capital, console and finial returned to left. Left return two-window range, rear has plain coped parapet to gable and C20 windows and door. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
