GV II
House in row. Early to mid C19. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar or dressed stone, concrete tile roof. PLAN: Wide frontage property in two sections, probably two properties originally, right hand half in ashlar, then straight joint, with left half in dressed rough coursed stonework. Main windows face south, across gardens. EXTERIOR: Two storeys, to road with plain walling to left, then two plain sashes above one and four-panel door with glazed hood. Rear in ashlar, with two+two sashes above one sash and door at each level, and return gabled wing. Rear wall has ashlar toothings at west end, as though to receive further building not completed, this adjoins throughway to No.140A. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
