Pair of houses in row. Early C19 with C20 alterations. MATERIALS: Painted ashlar front, large squared block returns, pantile roofs. EXTERIOR: Two storey block has wide throughway to right, and single bay section separately roofed. First floor has five twelve-pane sashes, grouped as two:two:one, those to No.14 are probably originals. Ground floor has early tripartite ten:ten:ten-pane sash, side lights fixed, and plank door to the left. No.13 has C20 door and replacement tripartite sash. To right, carried on steel beam, wide opening (shopfront recorded in 1992), and return walls are in large stone block, twelve-pane sash to left. Left gable, in squared block, coped, but right hand end, and roof to end bay are hipped. Two ashlar stacks, with skirt and cornice cappings. INTERIOR: Not inspected.
