House. c1790. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, painted on ground floor, double Roman tile mansard roof hipped to left with paired dormer to front, with tall shared moulded stack to rear. PLAN: Formerly double depth plan, (rear now part of Ivy Cottage (qv)) with single storey lean-to left wing. EXTERIOR: Three storeys, two-window range. Coped parapet returned to left, stopped cornice, first floor sill band, horned plate glass sash windows, those to first floor with sun-blind boxes, five-flush-panel door to right-of-centre, window to left, one window to front of wing and two to left return. Single window on each floor to return, also projecting stack pipe encased in ashlar. INTERIOR: Inspected 1995 by Bath Council. Match boarding up to dado level, some stone-flagging remains in the basement. Some original doors survive, one an early four-panel door. Second floor has original C18 fireplace with late C18 hob grate. Ground floor scullery with original copper and grate intact.
