Three irregular terrace houses stepped uphill from No.2 to left. No.2, to left, late C18 with early C19 set back left wing. MATERIALS: Incised render, coped parapet and gable ends to steep double pitched slate mansard roof to main block with shared stack to right party wall and the sides of flat roofed left wing. PLAN: Double depth plan. EXTERIOR: Two storeys and attic, three-window front. Late C19 horned two/two-pane sash windows to two dormers, returned coped parapets, that to lower left wing sweeps up to meet gable end of original block, cornices and ground floor platbands, two tall four/four-pane sash windows to first floor are fronted by scrolled wrought iron balcony on four brackets, horizontal glazing bars to two/two-pane ground floor sash windows and first floor left, raised and fielded panels and overlight to six-panel door to far left in late C19 glazed porch. No.3 similar, taller with rubblestone rear, rendered front with painted stone window surrounds and doorcase, six/six-pane sash windows, steps up to set back six-panel door glazed to top, in moulded architrave, frieze and cornice. No.4 c1840 and taller. Render, double-pitched pantile roof with moulded stack to left party wall. Three storeys and basement, one window range. Raised surrounds to C20 horned six/six-pane sash windows with ten/ten-pane sash to basement. To right two storey C20 block. INTERIORS: Not inspected. No. 3 recorded by Bath Preservation Trust in 1993, but few of the original features remain. All sash windows replaced since 1979, and plasterwork in front rooms.
