Pillar box. c1865. Cast-iron. Hexagonal `Penfold'. Swept domed top with falling leaf motifs between ridges to each facet, bud finial on moulded base, cornice with large beads, frieze with royal coat-of-arms over slit, words `POST OFFICE' flank slit,moulded frame to posting times notice over scrolled V R monogram. Door has canted sides, hinged to left, spans front and fastens to right over plinth.
