Littleborough War Memorial
War Memorial. Dedicated on the 17th June, 1922. Designed by Bradshaw, Hope and Gass, architects, of Bolton. The monument is made up of a York stone obelisk which stands upon a square pedestal. This in turn stands on a platform formed from two wide steps which lead to two narrow steps at the base of the pedestal. The front face of the obelisk has a carved wreath at mid-height, and is topped with a stone bearing a carved cross in relief on all four faces. At the base of the obelisk, on the front face of the pedestal is a granite plaque on which the names of the Fallen of the two World Wars are inscribed. The memorial stands in a small semi-circular garden in the centre of Littleborough.
