Summary
Two flights of stairs and walkway bridge. Initially designed in 1961 by Thomas Worthington & Sons with final, completed design of 1963 by W A Gibbon of Cruickshank & Seward. Constructed in 1963 by Ove Arup & Partners for the Manchester College of Technology (renamed University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology - UMIST - in 1966).
